Ulpan4U - teaching methods

Our method of teaching Hebrew is primarily aimed at getting you to speak as quickly as possible. To speak the correct Hebrew, the Hebrew that Israelis use while living in Israel. Therefore, our teachers at Ulpan Rishon Le Zion are exclusively Israelis who have undergone a rigorous selection process before beginning to teach and study Hebrew.

You will be surprised that in the first month of training you will already speak, write in Hebrew, be able to understand what is said to you and even send messages in Hebrew through your Smartphone.

The first question that those interested in Hebrew ask themselves is: what is Hebrew and how are Hebrew courses conducted? This is a classic lesson, in cozy classes of up to 15 people. It is important that you have a smartphone at hand, as we will be conducting unique interactive games. During our lessons, you can see the blackboard, the teacher and fellow students, with whom you can also freely communicate. This creates a friendly and cozy atmosphere. There is access to all the materials necessary for learning, which the teacher uses in the lesson - audio / video materials, presentations, etc. During the course, the teacher can divide the students into groups to analyze individual exercises, composing and analyzing dialogues. All this is to ensure that the Hebrew courses are as effective as possible.

History of Rishon

Rishon LeZion (meaning “First to Zion”) is one of the first cities in modern Israel. And it offers a slower pace than neighboring Tel Aviv. Its history is steeped in the wine of the famous Carmel Winery (now closed to the public). Which is evident in its rustic Old City architecture. Founded in 1882 by European Jewish immigrants, the Old City, which occupies just a few blocks, is centered on Rothschild Street and includes the Great Synagogue, built in 1885, a museum, a village park, a large water tower, and a village well.

The rest of Rishon is a large sprawling suburb with a cinema, restaurants and a theme park west of the Old City, down Rabin Street. Further west is the picturesque Palmachim Beach. Palmachim has grassy sand dunes perfect for a boat trip, and calm waters and is protected by a natural rocky bay.
