Hebrew Alef - this level lays the foundations of phonetics, grammar and vocabulary for further study Hebrew. Skills of writing, reading simple texts, using language to communicate on everyday topics are acquired. Upon completion of the Aleph level, students acquire the following skills:
- understanding by ear of easy stories, dialogues
- expressing your thoughts in written and oral forms.
- reading simple dialogues and texts in Hebrew
- conducting basic conversation
The first Hebrew Alef is the initial one. At this stage, teachers lay the foundation for further, more in-depth study Hebrew. The classes are structured in such a way that students quickly master phonetics, vocabulary and grammar. Of course, Ulpan Alef only covers the basics, but they are enough to read simple texts, write simple phrases, conduct dialogues, and ask questions. After completing Hebrew Alef, students will also be able to:
- understand what others are talking about;
- participate in dialogues on everyday topics;

- in easy Hebrew, without vowels, read headlines in printed and online publications, short, simple texts.

We pay great attention to learning spoken language without an accent and grammar in classes. Our main goal is the free use of Hebrew in everyday life. From the very first lessons, all students actively participate in the educational process. After a few lessons, this allows you to learn to speak quickly, understand speech by ear, bringing this process to automatism.
Ulpan program for beginners (Hebrew Alef) is designed for those repatriates, who begin to study Hebrew, as they say, "from scratch." If the repatriate has some knowledge in this area, he is usually given the opportunity to select a class that matches his level.
New immigrants are not required to attend an ulpan, although it is highly recommended that you take advantage of this opportunity. Completing an ulpan during your first few months in the country will speed up the adaptation process and facilitate your integration, especially when you begin looking for a job.
Once you start working full time, find time to learning Hebrew may become difficult. Therefore, it is important to take this training as early as possible and to make every effort to learn Hebrew during the first months after repatriation.
